MealLigence does not collect, store, or share any personal data.

• No Account Required — Use all features without signing up
• No Cloud Storage — Recipes, ingredients, and preferences stay on your device
• No Tracking — We don't monitor how you use the app
• No Analytics — No third-party analytics services
• No Advertising — No ads, no ad tracking

Camera & Photo Library

MealLigence requests access to your camera and photo library for ingredient scanning:

• Camera — Scan receipts and food packaging for automatic ingredient detection
• Photo Library — Select existing images of receipts or ingredients for analysis

These permissions are optional. Images are processed only to identify ingredients and are not stored on any server.

Recipe Generation

When you generate a recipe, we send your selected ingredients to a third-party AI service. This data:

• Contains no personal identifiers
• Is used only to generate your recipe
• Is not stored or used for AI training

Local Storage

All app data is stored locally on your device:

• Pantry inventory
• Saved recipes
• Meal plans
• Preferences and dietary restrictions

You can delete this data anytime through app settings or by uninstalling the app.

Third-Party Services

We use minimal third-party services for functionality only:

• AI Provider — Recipe generation (anonymized data only)
• Cloudflare — Secure API handling

We do not use analytics services, advertising networks, or social media trackers.

Children's Privacy

MealLigence does not collect personal information from anyone, including children. Parental supervision is recommended when children use any AI-powered application.

Your Control

You have complete control over your data:

• Delete individual items anytime
• Clear all data in Settings
• Uninstall to remove everything

Changes

We may update this policy occasionally. Changes will be reflected in the "Last Updated" date above.
